Was at the store in this little boy was so polite saying excuse me May I please get to the machine so that he could scan something he needed for school for the price. He may have been about 6. His mom couldnt afford the one he wanted so he settled for a cheaper version. She seemed so sad and frustrated... Got to the cash register and was waiting over a half an hour just to get the kids more large grip pencils. The same boy was in line waiting patiently the entire time. His mother had a bunch of things the little boy needed and still let me go ahead of them since I only had two items. At the end, the little boy wanted a dollar for something. His mom said sweetheart mommy cannot afford a dollar I am spending the last I have to get you what you need for your school project, and we dont have anything at all until Friday. (Again in saw that frustrated sad look I know I have at times). I gave that little boy a dollar. You should have seen the look on his face. It was priceless. His mother mustve thanked me a million times over and over. One dollar changed their day. What can u do with $1? I challenge all of you to give one dollar away. See how it could brighten someones day.
