Was finally able to read Sarah Styles Besseys new book last week. As the Church continues to endure fragmentation and infighting, there are plenty of reasons for cynicism and critique. That is why Sarahs words are such a gift to the Church. Jesus Feminist is one of the most constructive, hopeful and prophetic books Ive read in years. Reminding each of us of our sacred identity in Jesus and mobilizing us outward through the Spirit, it reads as an anthem that cuts through warring rhetoric and fuels us into new life. P.S. For those with an allergic reaction to the word feminist, I encourage listening longer than feels comfortable. While this book is written with clarity and conviction, it is delivered in posture of humility and generosity.
