Was honoured to recieve this email today: The Minister of Human Settlements, Ms L N Sisulu, MP hereby invites you to the National Human Settlements Youth Summit to engage the youth on how they can participate in the opportunities created by the Social Contract to accelerate the delivery of human settlements; and the launch of the National Housing Youth Brigade. OBJECTIVE OF THE SUMMIT • To share with the leadership of youth formations all programmes of the Depart-ment targeted at young people and how young people can participate in the implementation of the programmes. • To identify opportunities in the private sector for young people to participate in the implementation of the Social Contract for Development of Human Settlements. • To launch the National Housing Youth Brigade to participate in the rolling out of the 1.5 million housing opportunities by 2019.
