Was in Mad River Hospital 6 days, now a little weak, but mending well. I am coming out of my corner w/ my dukes up, low to the ground w/ a mean uppercut! Ready for a good fight. Rainbow Gathering July 1-7 and Idle No More in S. Utah or Nevada; Earth First! rendezvous now until next week. Do not know where N. CA or S. OR. Out of the loop, but sending prayers and good vibes. When you leave them, leave them laughing! Pudoh Jene. Uplifting my family and friends--so thankful to be alive. Tue. May 24th w/ blood pressure of 190/125, heart had extra beats, had autonomic hyper dysreflexia (cannot feel the pain, but react to it) because of an infection. No other classic heart attack symptoms. Elevated tropamine--enzyme the heart puts out when you have a heart attack or stress was over 5 (not too concerned) but at 8 put me in the hospital for monitoring. To find out if there was damage to the heart you can have a heart catheterization or 2 x-rays one before and after a stress test w/ atomic isotopes--dye inserted into your blood to show the part effected. Humboldt Co. people, go to St. Joseph Hospital, they have the cardiac facility. My MRH doctor explained the nuclear isotopes and synthetic speed induced (pretend you are on a trend mill running because I am in a wheelchair) heart stress test. My question,When you create a negative reaction to stress test, meaning a bad artery or clotted damaged heart acts up, are you going to put me in an ambulance and ship me to St. Joseph because you do not have facilities here to help me? Oh, no. We would give you medication to counter act the effects. I did not ask further questions on this line. I thought, you fn jerk! Compliment me on asking very good questions, I have never been asked these questions before, he said. Wrong answer for me. Be informed. It seems these x-rays are an acceptable practice. My doctor could not answer my questions, but a cardiologist--heart doctor could better explain the physiological effects and adverse side effects When I had the heart catheterization in 2009 or 2010 I had no damage, the doctor said I have a beautiful heart--no abnormalities. Five years ago I had same episode; BP 240/130, low magnesium, high calcium (took for austioperosis sp?). I was at the Trinity Tribal Stomp, 100 degrees. Went to Weaverville hospital, 20 minutes turn around, took blood, came out and said, looks like you have had a heart attack. We cant help you here. The mediVac will come and fly you to Mercy Hospital in Redding in 10 minutes.
