Was it not wrong for the people not speak of the evil of Adolf Hitler? Hitlers war machine murdered an estimated 4 to 6 million Jews. Good Germans remained quite, while the trains rolled by going to Auschwitz. Were they really good Germans in Gods eyes? Psalm 94:16 commands us to stand up against tyranny and evil doers. Ephesians 5:11 commands us to refute all works of darkness. The Bible NEVER teaches for us to lay down as Christians and accept tyranny, blatant government crimes and theft. Proverb 28:15, “As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.” Proverb 29:12, “If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.” Romans 13 plainly speaks about obeying good government . . . Romans 13:3, “For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same.” 2nd Peter2:9-12, “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption.” During the Russian Revolution, millions of Russians went into the Gulag slaves camps, never to return home again. Millions froze to death in the Siberian Arctic. While children played in the streets and life went about as usual, 15% of the population (political subversives, petty criminals, undesirables) eventually made their way, quietly and secretly (often by kidnapping), into the gulag detention centers to be worked to death. Tens-of-millions starved and froze to death under dictator Joseph Stalin (1920-1950). We ought not let these atrocities be forgotten, because history always repeats itself. Silence isnt golden, it is cowardly. Sadly, America has become the land of the cowards and the home of the slaves. Christian should distinguish between love for people and acceptance of their conduct. God loves everyone, but He still hates sinful conduct so much that He will punish those who do not repent. Because He loves us, He sent His Son to die so we can be forgiven. But if we refuse God’s grace through Jesus Christ the conditions of forgiveness, we will still be lost eternally. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. John 3:17-21 Peter and the other apostles replied: We must obey God rather than human beings! Acts 5:29 Like a muddied spring or a polluted well are the righteous who give way to the wicked. Proverbs 25:26 When a land falls into the hands of the wicked, he blindfolds its judges. If it is not he, then who is it? Job 9:24 The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
