Was looking at the Agenda for Mondays meeting.......The RDKB and WKBRHD positions are an annual appointment - not 4 year positions. Council has to vote on who is the rep every year - and putting it in the minutes that it is a 4 year position puts out completely misleading information. It needs to be corrected. If it was, in fact, moved as a 4 year position, then it needs to be rescinded, and a new motion made and voted on ,because it contravenes the rules and procedures of the RDKB (The RDKB governs how appointments to their board are made - this is not something the city has jurisdiction on). Also, the RDKB Cemetery Committee is a committee of the Regional District - and I could be wrong on this - but whoever is the RD appointee should also be the representative.
