Was looking for a no-cost project for my kids, as money is tight. Thought we could go thru all our old books and take them to Half Price Books. Spent about two hours and came up with over a hundred fifty books, over half of which were S.King, john Saul, john Grisham, Dean Kuntz, Dan brown,. Cautioned my kids not to think we would get much to pick out two books each. They offered us $8.50 for all of them. It didnt even cover the books the books they picked out, and they each had to put one back, and it made them cry. So they taught my kids about corporate greed, and how to take advantage. I had no other money with me, and it was a harsh lesson, for me too. Will never forgive them for making my kids cry, and Im never going back
