Was musing on Twitter about the knowledge I assume everybody keeps in their head. It turns out that apparently a lot of people cant find their way at night by the stars, or even recognize the constellations, which I just assumed was something we were all taught as children. But as I think about it more, I realize I was just really into astronomy and physics. Can you look into the night sky and point out Orion or Cassiopeia or the Dippers? Can you find Polaris and so orient yourself on north? Is this something you learned in school or at home?
