Was not sure (until 5:30 AM yesterday) if I would like to run Christchurch Airport Marathon. But ultimately I have decided to yesterday at 5:30 AM to go for it and flew to Christchurch. I had to run for someone else!!! While in Christchurch I shared a room with two other snoring people, champions in snoring, in a backpacker-type home-stay whose socks did stink like rotten skunk. In the morning got ready by putting on skinny and a beanie but forgot my gloves. It was -4 degrees when we started and at 23rd KM I fell on the slippery road. My fingers were almost frozen. Got some help from the paramedics and ultimately finished my 42.195 KM run :). I am feeling great and I am loving NZ more and more :)
