Was over on another page and someone was talking about how at a sunday school their kids were told that humans were punished by having their language changed by God and she was completely appalled. (she isnt a christian and the kids were going with a relative) I remember being taught this too and isnt it crazy that when you are brought up in this type of belief system it doesnt seem crazy but later on in life you look back and think WTF??? I remember being told that black people were punished by being turned black because they were wicked also. I dont have a story to go with that or perhaps they meant that also happened at the Tower of Babel story?? Because hey, why wouldnt God screw with his creation like this just because they were making a temple to reach to the heavens (which they never could do by the way) and were uniting for one purpose to do so and because they were using *GASP* tar and bricks instead of stone and mortar which of course meant that they were building the temple to call attention to their own achievements. Seems legit........
