Was so excited to have service today when I saw that 334 area code ring my number! Talked to T for about 15 min. She is very encouraged by yalls cards and letters. She said it keeps her going when she is down. They remind her she isnt in this alone; and that we havnt forgotten about her. So keep them flowing her way!!! Also, if u include extra paper or envelopes for her- try adding colored or fun pattern paper and envelopes. Not only are they a change if pace and uplifting- the can make a good trade system for her! Example: she might be able to trade a polka dot paper for a Reese cup (and who doesnt like a Reese cup!!?) ;) I also spoke with her Attny today. Her notice of appeal has been filed! The process has begun... Now we wait for the stages to begin and the appeal board of 9 judges to review her case and the argued points. Also, an additional Attny has been added to her case to assist. He specializes in appeal proceedings and Warren was excited to have him on the defense team as he fights for justice for Tracey. Also in good news, he court did award Traceys dad and step mother a visitation schedule with the children. This will be good for them! Unfortunately, the judge did not allow AG to be taken out of the county for visits with Tracey. He referenced her age as his reasoning; however I personally think that, although its not prime circumstances, 5 yrs old is still an appropriate age to visit.
