Now Bowies new song Sue from his highly anticipated new album is a free-form jazz inspired tune that could have been recorded back in the 40s/50s. And Ive been listening to Madonnas song Secret Garden instrumental which is a beautiful jazz inspired number. So, yeah, Id say Jazz is definitely in vogue nowadays. Not that it ever died, mind you. Miles Davis album Kind of Blue I still rank as one of the most beautiful jazz compositions ever.
