Was telling someone today about seeing Heather Dale perform live - TopicsExpress

Was telling someone today about seeing Heather Dale perform live in Tucson at the house of friends this past summer... found myself humming this song, SEDNA, on the way home... Its DARK... but still one of my favorite Goddess tales--and fave songs of Dales. In mythology, the tale of Sedna is not the only tale of women losing limbs or body parts to cause change/effect transformation... The old world tale of Baba Yaga uses like symbolism, and there are tales of going into the Underworld or into the Underground Forest alone, and without hands--or impaired in some way, to excavate the tools needed, and bring them back above ground so you can grow and move on. In Hindu religion, the figure of Akhilanda (the Goddess of Never Not Broken) teaches that you are never more powerful than when you are broken into many pieces, and have the choice to rebuild yourself in a conscious way. youtu.be/V0VoBuzYb8U
