Was walking down West Elloe Avenue at 6pm this evening on the Pinchbeck side of the road along the footpath. Now, as everyone knows there is a perfectly good cycling path the other side. Tonight, as always it seems some of our friends from overseas chose not to follow our laws and twice i had guys on bikes coming at me on that side of the road where there is NO cycling pavement, thinking i would simply be a pushover and move into the muddy grass or worse, into the road. Oh no, not me mother f*ckers !! I stood my ground and like a cowboy on a duel our eyes met and the distance between us every decreased. The first one just pulled into the road at the last moment whereas the latter was determined to make me move. As he got within a few yards of me i gave him the full verbal blast of no cycling on this pavement to which you get the same old middle finger as they ride off, is this what we really have to put up with by some !! Now i am sure that the usual suspects on here will defend them to the end of the day, but ask yourselves this....it was dark, the road was busy, if you were elderly walking along there you would undoubtedly be intimidated and more than likely pushed into the road. Its not acceptable to cycle on non cycle pavements ! And to translate the same to our Friends who say me no understand .....To nie jest przyjęcia się do cykl na non cykl nawierzchnie !
