Was walking our 3 dogs today and discovered a young ( 2 months ? ) dead little bird in the grass. The baby wasnt even stiff yet or cold, it hadnt been dead for long. I gently picked the little bird up and moved him/her behind the bushs and said rest in peace little one. Tonight i walked the same path with the dogs and my emotions got the best of me all of a sudden as i approached the area. I let the little bird know that even though his/her life was short, it didnt go unnoticed and that i appreciated the little life and felt sad for how short his/her life was. Im fine now though and dedicate the following song to this little angel.
