Was watching a Youtube video with Pastor Jon Courson this morning. One time his friend Danny was in an 8th grade biology class. The teacher said to the class that he understood that many of the students in the class had faith in God, but scientifically we must not take our faith seriously when it comes to creation; and over the course of the next semester he was going to show, not the hypothesis of evolution but, its certainty. Danny was a firm believer in The Bible. As the semester went on, the teacher could see that the way Danny was answering questions and writing his essays, he was not making headway with him. On the last day of class, the teacher had grown increasingly frustrated with Danny. The teacher told the class that, from the exam papers he could see that most of the students finally get the message and understand the root of evolution. But, he pointed out that Danny still had not come to this reality. The teacher asked Danny if he still had a problem with evolution. Danny said he did. So the teacher said that since this was the last day of the semester, he decided to put Dannys hypothesis of creation to a scientific empirical test. The teacher opened the drawer of his desk and pulled out an egg. The teacher asked Danny to pray to his God that the egg, upon being released from his hand, would not break when it hit the floor. Danny said, Sir, I would love too. Would you mind if I prayed out loud? The teacher said, Sure, all the better for our empirical test. Danny prayed, Lord, you heard this teacher try to get us to not believe you are creator. Would you show him and show us, Lord, so that, when he drops that egg, may it break into a 1000 pieces and may he drop down dead. In Jesus Name Amen The teacher then, looked at Danny and then the egg. He did this several times. Then, the teacher opened his drawer, put the egg inside, shut the drawer and said, Class dismissed!
