Washington Alley in Donora, Pa, will now forever be known as Deacon Dan Towler Way. Towler, a star of Donora’s 1944-45 football team and later an All-American at W&J, was an All-Pro with the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL. The street was officially renamed at the ceremony last Friday, August 15. A community reception followed, which displayed some memorabilia highlighting Towler’s career. The celebration was attended by some of Towler’s W&J teammates and members of his family. #GoPresidents #PrezPride
