Washington, DC- Tomorrow, January 29, the United States House Armed Services Committee will be holding a hearing at 9am titled, Religious Accommodations in the Armed Services where important #military decision makers will be making their statements on the issue. In solidarity with our #Sikh brothers and sisters, we will pack the hearing room at the Rayburn House Office Bldg, Room 2118 in Washington, DC to show that while the new rules proposed by the Pentagon are progress, they arent enough for the Sikh community. Even under the new rules, a Sikh still has to worry that his accommodation may be denied, leaving him to choose between his faith and his country.
