Washington State Housing Alliance is following House Bill (HB) 2368. This bill is to prevent the document recording gees of $30.00 from expiring. 60% of that $30.00 goes to the counties and 40% to the state. This money goes to help homelessness and housing programs. It has passed in the house and moved into Washington state senate. Please call your state legislator and tell them to please vote YES on HB2368. If you are in the 28th Legislative District, it is Senator OBan and his number is 360-786-7654. Please call his office ASAP to include this weekend and Monday so his assistants voice mail is flooded.
