Wasnt sure what to expect today. Nothing was explained to me other than that I was being sent to a new doctor for treatment. I like knowing what to expect. So I could hardly sleep last night, nervous and all. Same hospital. Still with Zimmer Cancer Center and NHRMC. Just with new doctors. Well today was AWESOME!!!!! As awesome as things could be in this kind of situation. Ive got a freakin awesome team of doctors!!!! 3 of them. One is a student learning from the other 2. And they are all 3 just flippin awesome and on the ball. This is the team that will be seeing me through treatment. And I dont think I could get a better team of doctors anywhere else. They explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. And they seemed really happy that I am so eager to let them do what needs to be done and that Im relatively healthy (not smoking, not drinking, strong-willed, and eating healthy). When they explained all the procedures and treatments they may need to do, I told them that I was OK with that and ready to do this. Right now I feel like a voodoo doll. Been jabbed, poked, prodded, and everything. All day. Im so exhausted and need to go pass out now. So much work done today. Cant wait for next week!!!! I have a hard time being patient. I want this to be over right now. And the weekends seem to go by so slowly. And Im sick of being sick and scared. But I cant begin to describe how absolutely thrilled and grateful I am for these doctors. God has Blessed me!!!! I could just cry!!!!
