Waste - solid waste or any type of waste is not a priority to many - TopicsExpress

Waste - solid waste or any type of waste is not a priority to many organisations and some people as they have to follow by the book. Talk to the donors or organisations (siting on their fat salaries) who work for the benefit of humanitarian, preserving the environment and culture, protecting wildlife for our future generation and are willing to spend tax payers money to do good for poorer countries but then they will go by the book to protect their seat only. WHY? rules and procedures is important to follow. Does that mean we should ignore the goal of benefit of humanitarian, preserving the environment and culture, protecting wildlife for our future generation? Please set your priority right. As an individual the same person sitting on the hot seat response are - WOW a great job and responsibility taken by Clean Bhutan, but we cannot support you as it is beyond our means as we need to go by the criteria and standards of our needs and benefits. (protect our salary) Are all donor the same (No Action Talk Only), just paperwork where you can produce strategies and action plans which is not implementable but looks great to read? What is happening to those strategies and action plans by organisations for millions of dollars received from the donors? It clearly indicates that we love making bulky papers which say lots of things but means nothing on the ground to be implemented. So let us be be more practical and implement what we mean and think and not just hot air for the sake of paper work. On 17 December 2013 His Majesty the King of Bhutan said Quote we (bhutanese) are good in planning and developing strategies and action plans but we are poor in implementation unquote.
