Watch In Defense of Animals - Africas elder female chimpanzee - TopicsExpress

Watch In Defense of Animals - Africas elder female chimpanzee Bouboule, and hear her happy food grunts, as she comes to get her breakfast after spending the night nesting in the forest. Most of the chimpanzees at IDA-Africa’s Sanaga-Yong Rescue Center come inside to sleep in their satellite cages at night, but some, like Bouboule and two other females in her group, sometimes prefer nesting outside. When they sleep in the forest, they usually show up at the satellite cage for breakfast and other meals throughout the day. Bouboule was in a small cage at the Yaounde Zoo in Cameroon for about 30 years before she came to Sanaga-Yong Center in 2003 through a collaboration with Ape Action Africa. Thanks to IDA-Africa manager, Agnes Souchal, for the video.
