Watch Site of the Week: The Chinati Foundation is a contemporary art museum in Marfa, Texas, a small desert town near the Mexico-United States border. Chinati was the creation of artist Donald Judd and it has become an international destination housing works by Judd, John Chamberlain, Dan Flavin, and other twentieth-century minimalist artists. But today even routine repairs are becoming complicated for buildings that house precious art, as more and more of the buildings—formerly part of a military base—have deteriorated with time.
