The Rocklands - Rees Road fire, 17KM NE OF BALMORAL bushfire has broken out in the North East section and is travelling in a north easterly direction from the Black Range State park towards Maggies Lane. Spotfires and ember attacks may be occurring ahead of the fire. Private properties north east of the Black Range State park could be impacted any time in the next few hours. Dont wait, leaving now is the safest option - conditions may change and get worse very quickly. Emergency Services may not be able to help you. Travel to; - The home of family or friends that is away from the warning area. - Regional areas such as Horsham Black Range State Park Visitor Information: - North of the Muirfoot Track, including the picnic ground and the rock climbing areas is CLOSED. - South of the Muirfoot Track, and Muirfoot track itself remains open. The next update is expected by 06/01/15 8:00 PM or as the situation changes.
