Watch out for pick-pockets at concerts Police are warning fans who are attending the Slipknot concert at the Cardiff Motorpoint arena to be aware of pick pockets especially in the ‘mosh pit’ after over 200 phones have been stolen during similar events during the metal band’s tour. Inspector Neil Jones the local police inspector for Cardiff city centre said: “There have been issues reported at similar previous events concerning pick-pocketing. Everyone attending concerts of this nature are reminded to keep their valuables safe. “We will have officers on duty at the venue and will linking in with security staff. However, I want to remind those attending the concert - or any other busy event - to make sure their valuable personal belongings are safely tucked away.”
