Watch the Fall River and Fish Creek Resiliency (Master) Plans presentation Jan. 13 Final comments due by Jan. 20 Consultants from Walsh Environmental Scientists and Engineers will present the completed drafts of the resiliency (master) plans for the restoration of the Fall River and Fish Creek corridors to the Estes Park Town Board at its regular meeting Tuesday, Jan. 13. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Town Board Room of Town Hall, 170 MacGregor Ave. View the agenda at estes.org/boardsandmeetings. The public is encouraged to read the completed draft plans at fishcreekcoalition/master-plan and fallrivercoalition.org/master-plan and watch the Town Board presentation. Those unable to attend the meeting can watch live via estes.org/videos or on local cable channel 12. The recorded presentation will also be available later online. Final written public comments on the plans should be provided by Jan. 20 in writing to the Community Development Department at [email protected] or in Room 210 of Town Hall. Following the 2013 flood, the Town of Estes Park and the Fall River and Fish Creek coalitions, led by citizens and River Advisory Committees, contracted with Walsh Environmental Scientists and Engineers to design master plans for the restoration of the Fall River and Fish Creek corridors. The completed draft plans are the result of the extensive efforts of the coalition members, Town of Estes Park staff and Estes Valley citizens. Any public comments beyond the scope of the resiliency plans will be addressed during future phases of potential projects, which will include additional community outreach.
