Watch the Tinchy Stryder Chuckle Brothers video if youre in need of a smile The hilarious new collaboration between Tinchy Stryder and 90s childrens TV stars Paul and Barry Chuckle; To Me To You (Bruv), is not only in aid of an extremely worthy cause, but has seen the UK reminiscing on our childhood years and the pure comedy genius of the Chuckle Brothers. After announcing their upcoming collaboration back in September via Tweets from the recording studio by both Tinchy and Paul Chuckle, music lovers everywhere have been waiting with bated breath for the release of the Tinchy Chuckle Brothers video. The To Me To You (Bruv) official video was finally released earlier this week and has already attracted over a million views on YouTube, with Tinchy and Chuckle fans of all ages anxious to check out the outcome of this unlikely musical trio. The verdict? Overwhelmingly positive. The cultural juxtaposition between Tinchy Stryder, a MOBO award-winning UK grime legend, and the Chuckle Brothers, heroes of 90s TV, has been received with childish chuckles and wide praise of their suburban video. The genuine friendship between Tinchy and the Chuckle Brothers is undeniably apparent when watching the To Me To You (Bruv) video, making it no surprise that the UK has embraced the trending Tinchy Chuckle Brothers collaboration as if being reunited with an old friend. Whilst the song itself is far from the rappers normal dark urban tunes, standing in sharp contrast to the recent Tinchy Stryder Game Over, the track does have a naughty little beat behind it, as Tinchy proudly Tweeted back in September. The To Me To You (Bruv) lyrics may have been questioned by many reviewers, but are undeniably rich in the classic ChuckleVision comedy that weve all subconsciously been missing, and the resulting hype around the new release speaks for itself. Watch the Chuckle Lounge The viral spread of Tinchy Stryder and the Chuckle Brothers collaboration has been encouraged by BBC Radio 1s Nick Grimshaw, who gladly admitted that hes obsessed with the To Me To You (Bruv) song on his Breakfast Show on Monday. Since then, Grimmys call for #chucklelounge Tweets from followers who wanted to see Tinchy and the Chuckle Brothers perform live on Radio 1 was met by a flood of support, and yesterday morning the trio made Grimmys wish come true by performing To Me To You (Bruv) in the Live Lounge, unsurprisingly amidst buckets of banter, not to mention the Chuckle Shuffle! But, as with many recent internet sensations, the true value and appeal of the viral hit To Me To You (Bruv) is not only in the laughter and discussion that its igniting across the UK, but in the awareness its spreading in support of one of Tinchys favourite charities, the African Caribbean Leukemia Trust (ACLT). Download To Me To You (Bruv) in support of the ACLT The African Caribbean Leukemia Trust promotes blood and bone marrow transfusion amongst the UKs black community. With numbers of donors in the black community being proportionately low, an official from NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT), Theo Clarke, explains why there is an urgent need for people to sign up in a recent press release; We need more black donors as some rare blood types are more common among black communities. Donations are used to treat blood disorders, such as sickle cell anaemia, which are more likely to affect the black community. Sickle patients ideally need blood from a similar ethnic background. We also need to ensure blood supplies for emergency treatment of those with rare blood types, for example after road accidents or childbirth complications. The NHSBT are now promoting a campaign to sign up 7000 new black donors by 2020, and are calling on young black Londoners in particular to sign up, as half of the countrys black population currently live in the capital. The ACLT has been promoting this cause since it was set up in the 1990s and has helped to encourage thousands of black donors to register, but unfortunately its not yet enough to ensure that the NHSBT has a sufficient supply. Thats why Tinchy and the Chuckle Brothers have decided to donate all profits from their song To Me To You (Bruv) to the ACLT. Lets hope this musical comedy collaboration will continue to spread awareness and attract the donors that the black community need!
