Watch the chilling new trailer for EastEnders 30th anniversary week The BBC has released a chilling trailer for EastEnders 30th anniversary. Viewers will finally find out who killed Lucy Beale in the ongoing whodunit storyline. The trailer shows many of the suspects of the murder being haunted, before they all come together in the square. Lucy Beale is shown standing on top of one of the buildings looking down. In addition to the revelation of who killed Lucy, several old cast members will be returning for the anniversary week. John Partridge will be reprising his role as Christian Clarke to attend the wedding of Christians sister Jane (Laurie Brett) to Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt). Jo Joyner will be returning as Tanya Branning and Barbara Windsor will also be back to resume her role as Peggy Mitchell. As well as a fully live episode, there will be live elements to all the other episodes airing that week.
