This Terrence Malick (The Tree of Life, Days of Heaven) produced. stunningly beautiful fictionalized evocation of Abraham Lincoln’s childhood in the early 1800s of frontier America is at both a poetic view of history, and an intensely personal account of life in another time. The film stars notable actors Diane Kruger, Jason Clarke, Brit Marling and Wes Bentley, and is directed by Malicks long-time collaborator and editor A.J. Edwards.
