At 1:00 pm at the Peoples Climate March we linked hands above our hands and were silent. It took a little bit of time to quiet down, but when we did the streets of NYC were so quiet we could hear the birds singing. And then a wave of sounding the alarm rolled over us from the north to the south. I have tears of joy just remembering it. Finally breaking through the silence, over 400,000 people in the streets marching for change screaming from the bottom of their hearts for a liveable future. This is just a phone video, and cant really reproduce the feeling, but it gives you a sense of it....Many thanks to Rick for catching it.
