Take the woowoo conspiracy theories out, overcome the desire to believe everythings great and look at the facts. Only the facts. The human mind lapses into something called cognitive dissonance when presented with facts that are not in line with its current world view. That means you may want to ignore the facts, laugh at the facts, angrily denied the facts, numb out to being able to see the facts, arrogantly and stubbornly try to explain away the facts, or simply roll over and accept the facts in a disassociated way instead of facing the facts. The first step is analyzing the facts with an open mind no matter how scary. From that point you can come to a rational conclusion and make rational decisions.
