I am guessing that this actually could be in the Andes Mountains (South America). The Andes are actually some of the steepest mountains in the world and roads like this on the sides of cliffs are quite common. Scientists predict that the Andes could be the highest mountains in the world in another 20 million years reaching seven miles in height. That mean that the Amazon Basin could end up resembling dry places like eastern Colorado or western Kansas. Robert Dongs (another poster) comment: This is just too scary and nuts!!!
