Watched 12 Years a Slave last night. Cant remember being that uncomfortable watching a movie in a very long time. A very powerful movie with incredible acting and a very sad story. Overall I thought Chiwetel Ejiofor ( Played Solomon ) was AMAZING. Had Matthew McConaughey not made Dallas Buyers, I would have given the award to Chitwetel. Personally I was surprised that Lapita won given that she was only in about 50 minutes of the movie. Played an amazing rule. Just my two cents. I guess thats why they call it supporting actress. And theres your Siskel, Ebert and de Lancey movie moment for your Saturday morning.. Thoughts besides I need to get a life?
