Watched Legend today with the very cool bonus disc that has the making of on it. Legend is a wholly awesome movie that came out in the 80s from director Ridley Scott--Aliens--Bladerunner. Now, audiences hated it--I loved it--I saw it in the theatre and Ive seen it about 30 times since...love it. It may quite well be the most least known Tom Cruise movie ever. How people hate this movie is beyond me--it has elves with curly toe shoes, faeries, glitter, unicorns, Blix, possibly Tonya Harding as Una, the Lord of Darkness, and Meg Mucklebones! The Lord of Darkness is still, to this day, the coolest makeup job ever in a movie--it is, in fact, right as rain. The coolest thing about the Ultimate Edition is the trailers and the commercials--theres nothing I like more than getting special editions of movies and TV shows and they have the old commercials in them--I love re-living the 80s and 90s--check out the GI Joe dvds from the cartoon series--all the old Now You know PSAs and the old toy commercials. One thing I found interesting about the Making of doc--Tom Cruises name was literally not mentioned once--kinda strange.
