Watched Rush tonight with Mom..Good movie...If you havent heard about it, it came out last year, its about two Formula one Drivers from the mid 70s, James Hunt and Niki Lauda. What is cool about this movie, its more than a movie about racing cars, the two characters (based on true events) are opposite from one another, but they both love driving cars fast and living dangerously. James Hunt is a thrill seeker, living for the moment, intense, emotional, pleasure seeker. Niki Lauda, is focused, logical, goal orientated, boring, non emotional, determined. The girls love James, the corporate sponsors love Niki. The story is of their lives on and off the track. I enjoy movies that entertain me and are introspective in a way, while watching it you slowly admire/relate to one or the other character and what they stand for. Its interesting to watch as both of these guys go thru their lives in this crazy world of formula one racing and they both deal with it in different ways, also how they ended up... Ive never heard of these two before. Also interesting is learning about events in a time when there is tons of other things going on too, Rocky was made in 76, and my fav tennis player Bjorn Borg was making it big in the tennis world at this time..this was happening then too, cool movie:) Daniel Brühl plays Niki Lauda, Chris Hemsworth plays James Hunt... https://youtube/watch?v=dA3XN54J8nY
