Watched The Family last night. Robert DeNiro, once again plays ”himself”. Just not sure about his acting ability anymore. The good thing is everyone else did a great job. Reasonable gangster story with some laughs. Just what you would expect; some violent deaths, quirky charactors (really liked the kids), nasty hitmen and sloppy FBI agents. Michelle Pfieffer was on her game. I overlooked the unbelievable sequence events leading to the films climax and enjoyed this film. I would suggest waiting until it goes to the Joy or DVD (we had movie discounts).
