Watched a channel called COZI T.V. .---lots of classic T.V.---saw an episode of Lassie with Jeff, gramps and Jeffs Mom Ellen. This episode had gramps getting his first modern tractor-- a Case. The gist of the program was about farmers using more modern farm practices. You can guess that he was reluctant about any changes--hated the new fangled machine. The farm implement salesman was a young-Alan Hale ( anybody know that name?) . The episode was dated (roman numerals MCMLVI---and that was ? That tractor is now a classic collector item.
