Watched a young bloke fight last night who had a Muay Thai record of 3 fights with 3 losses as he entered the ring at Battle by the Bay. He came up against an opponent with 4 wins from 5 starts. He climbed through the ropes with a smile and genuine confidence that was not ego related in any way. He fought with style and composure that went beyond his years and experience. It was brilliant to watch him listen to his coach and he displayed good ring craft. It was even better to see him come away with his first victory! To top it off, he was awarded Fight of the Night. This young guys name is Leonard Lalor from Bloodshed Muay Thai gym in Brisbane. Congrats to you and congrats to your coach Dwayne Glasgow. You are an inspiration to all up and coming fighters.
