Mayor Castro seems quite respectful and encourages parental involvement as well as having high expectations for teachers and students (although Im not sure what that means exactly). I liked the respectful way he presented his ideas and his investment in early childhood education. He also seems to respect the choices of the voters regarding programs. Someone to watch, I think.
