Watched the Brazil match last night. Reminded me why I cant get into this football lark. Ive never seen so many cheating nonces topple over screaming when someone came near them, then getting up, gouging someones feet out from under them and saying what who me? I think its fair to say that the point of the game used to be to see whose team was better at kicking a ball and whose fans were better at starting a fight. Now its about whose team can most convincingly fool the poor ref into awarding various meaningless free kicks and penalties, and which fans can pressure said ref into overlooking actual fouls. Its actually embarrassing to think this is supposed to be the best sport in the world.
