Watched the Marinovich Project and cant help but draw comparisons to Johnny Football. Both excellent high school players who went on to play for college teams near home. USC and Texas A and M. Both started as freshman and had great seasons that ended in a dramatic bowl game win. Both declared for the draft despite off field and character concerns at the age of 21. Both have an undoubted competitive fire. Both really seem to like cocaine. Both taken in the first round 22 for Marinovich, 24 manziel on sub par teams (Raiders, Browns). It didnt end well for robo quarterback who was getting comparisons to Elway because he couldnt grow up. That year farve a future hof was taken 33rd overall. Teddy 32nd. Looks good for MN bad for Johnny.
