Watched this interview with Keiser and Chris Powell from GATA and Im quite amazed at Powells Cognitive Dissonance, and the degree of his mindless manipulation mindset. He maintains that the FED is micromanaging in secret the prices of all capital, labour, goods, and services in the world. I mean gimme a break! This sort of statement is utter crap. The only thing that the FED can be accused of is keeping interest rates at ZERO and not demanding excess commercial bank reserves on deposit at the FED being used as collateral for new retail loans. The latter part of this policy is by definition especially deflationary, with the former promoting speculation on those deflationary forces - the market reactions to this policy are nothing but pure mathematics, able to be forecasted, and contractile in nature. He also says earlier in the video that the price of PMs are well under the cost of production by virtue of this manipulation - but absolutely no mention is made of the fact that Crude oil is now trading at $66 /back at 2005 levels I think, Natural Gas at $3.77 back at sub 2002 levels and that input costs are falling faster than WTC 1&2 on 911.
