Watched this tonight and had such strong feelings in so many ways. As a parent, I cannot imagine how hard it would be. As a corneal transplant recipient, I am so thankful to that 19 year old donor who died much too soon. I would give up my sight if he could live with his loved ones on this earth again, but I am so thankful to see my beautiful kids and wife each day through his help even after he passed. I was recently told by my opthamalogist that my left cornea is failing too and needs a transplant once the latest rejection episode in my right subsides. Thanks for all who are donors! It may seem like a simple check of a box when renewing you drivers license, but the impact on those in need is infinite.
