Watching A Summer Place...on TCM ...makes me so nostalgic for this romantic 1959 summer flick with the legendary dream boy, Troy Donahue & perky little Sandra Dee. Surprisingly, this music theme is the one Tom always has in the car ready for me when we cross the border into our favorite spot, Ogunquit, Maine. Tonight I realized that the movie actually takes place in Maine..who knew? I feel like a teenager every time I see it. Even if its corny by todays standards, watch it before the summers over,,,maybe with your teen.. girls are the target audience.The music will haunt you, even if the script makes you snicker a bit. https://youtube/watch?v=a10aowRXWA0
