Watching Dazed and Confused again - with someone who had never seen it - and Im struck again by how amazingly focused all of the performances are. For a relatively young director working with a mostly inexperienced (but highly professional) cast, its amazing that in every shot, every characters so clearly reflects their presence in the scene, reacting to each other and everything that happens. I watched an entire scene with Joey Lauren Adams where she didnt say a thing and saw her do SO MUCH. No wonder people love this film.
