Watching Don Shula - A Football Life... I still believe in my heart of hearts the game had passed him by in the late 80s. The inability to get Dan Marino a quality receiver or two or running game for the last 10 years of his career is glaring. Im not talking some Plan B ok receiver.Im talking about drafting and developing a Jerry Rice, Eddie Brown, Andre Reed, and Al Toon. These guys were out there and it stifled Marinos career as well as his. That last decade 1985-1995 was extremely incomplete.
