Watching #HiddenColors has me missing African American History class. According to this document, my professor was on point with what he taught us.... Now, that I watch with different eyes and hear with different ears, I wish I could take his class again. I remember he had us read David Walkers Appeal; I read my reaction paper the other day. It was funny that I pointed out the issue, but went back to it. Welp, they said we can talk about slavery, getting beat, jim crow, segregation, civil rights, marching, getting spit on, we can have Afro-centric programs at school, & its acceptable to wear African Garb...this month... Yayyy!!!! 😏😔
