Watching Unexplained Files featuring a former Minuteman missile - TopicsExpress

Watching Unexplained Files featuring a former Minuteman missile officer saying UFOs knocked two flights (20 missiles) off alert. Personal opinions: 1. The paperwork from the investigations would be measured in tons. The FOIA documentation he showed was about three pages. The problems and (presumably) corrective actions would have been briefed to the missile force and the code control offices at all Minuteman bases as well as numerous contractors. In other words, a lot of other people. 2. Not even the most advanced aliens nor an unknown long-lived atmospheric plasma phenomenon (something I personally think exists) get a pass from the laws of physics. The missile control is through buried, shielded cables: cutting them off requires physically tunneling down and cutting them. But there was no trace of that. You might postulate an electromagnetic pulse weapon powerful enough to do it, but it would melt all kinds of circuitry and shielding. I just cant figure out how this could be done.
