Watching a Cesar Millan show called love my Pit Bull and he said - TopicsExpress

Watching a Cesar Millan show called love my Pit Bull and he said something I couldnt agree with more, 60% of dogs that enter animal shelters are pit bulls, but we dont talk about it. We dont talk about how we misuse them, how we abuse them, how we neglect them. We never ever say anything wrong about us towards them. Its always about when they do something wrong and they pay the consequences. For my project in economics I chose to do a no kill rescue for pit bulls and I got the reaction I knew I would from my teacher. He said he understood why I would want to do that from what I put as my reason but he said he didnt know how that would work out and that those dogs could eat my face off. I followed that up with its people with a view point like yours that give them a bad name. Since I own two pit bulls and I see the hate they get because of their breed it makes me love them even more. When we see kids in todays society that are bad or misbehaving we blame it on poor home training but when it come to a pit bull it is their fault as if they were born knowing how to act and how to treat other dogs or people. Just like children all dogs including pit bulls need to be and are taught how to act or how we want them to, so it is not the dogs fault it is the person who is training it just like its not the childrens fault its the parents.
