Watching a documentary about the Cheshire Murders that occurred in July 2007, in Connecticut. Its the one about the husband being beat with a baseball bat and the the wife and their 2 daughters raped, tortured and strangled/burned alive... The husband/father lived and escaped. Geesh. They took the mother to the bank and she told the bank teller and the police sat around outside the house for 30minutes while the mom was strangled, the girls had gas dumped on them and set on fire. What a tragic ordeal and the guilt that must rest on the police department. 7million invested for death penalties...and a courtroom we ppl subjected to pictures of horrific nature. Horrendous... The victim families will be in my prayers... Our court systems need to be looking at full rap sheets and issuing sentences based on FULL criminal history not just most recent... Shame.Shame.Shame.
